Run to the Sun is a memorial in honor of Jefferson H Ridgdill. Not only was Jeff born and raised in New Smyrna Beach, he was a graduate of New Smyrna Beach High. With his love for his hometown and his passion for future graduates. Jeff also was high school teacher who taught social studies, economics and government at Spruce Creek High. He had love for surfing and he even was known as a local musician and had a band called "Wild Honey." He spent much of his time sponsoring high school clubs and volunteering for local charities. His endless effort to help others and his passion for youth spread through out the community. Jefferson H Ridgdill would have been in full support of the great things that CUDAS UnHooked is doing for deserving students in our community and we ask that you join us in celebrating his life, his love and his legacy. In year 10, they made the decision to hand this event over to CUDAS Unhooked, a charity affiliated with New Smyrna Beach’s local high school.
Thank you for supporting OUR MISSION and allowing us to provide support where it is needed most!
